The Outward Follows The Inward

Many of us summarise Islam in some external rituals forgetting that the ultimate meaning of worship is to purify the inward; in order to keep the outward going. Ibn `Ata’illah hints that the purity of the inward reflect on the clarity of the outward. Fasting is a process that heats the inward in order to enable it get rid of its defects….let’s see what the Quran says…
